In the early 80s, India was not conducive for entrepreneurs, especially in the cement and construction industry. Being a first-generation entrepreneur K.V Subba Rao garu had to ace every challenge in the early 80s stifled business environment to gain traction.
While our strong shared vision and values helped us endure them, our autonomy and innovative spirit led us to overcome them with flying colours. In only a few years, our premier white wash products charted a unique growth path becoming the best selling in India.
Over the years, SURYA CEM Sparkling White Wash has emerged as the unrivalled champion in the Indian market. It holds the distinction of being the only ISO-certified White Wash in the country.
But this was only a start, remember?
SURYA CEM Sparkling White Wash was our first successful product. And its roaring success provided us with a breakthrough in the competitive white wash industry. The success was a massive boost for us and led to the setup of a dedicated and state-of-art R&D wing that helped us innovate the essential products across multiple categories. With greater insight into customer needs, we were able to perfectly blend innovation with affordability to spawn premium quality products that are essential for construction.
To cater to the growing needs of industry, Delight Chemicals expanded into four companies which dedicatedly specialise in white wash products, paints, cool roof solutions, cement primers, and adhesive products, with 50+ unique offerings that now enjoy the trust of both domestic and industrial clients.
The advantage of self-sourcing, combined with our extreme commitment to quality, helped us build a top-notch ecosystem of construction materials. Our superior-quality cement primers, cool roof coats and wall putty soon became top-rated products across multiple segments, winning us approvals and laurels at the same time.
Indian Railways, Military Engineering Services, Roads & Building Department, Ordinance Factory, Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam, Srisailam Devastanam, and Tea Research Association, Assam (TOCKLAI) have entrusted us with their seal of approval, making us an active contributor for nation building.
